This is a difficult place to photograph. There are thousands of trees in every direction, new scenes to be discovered around every bend. A seasonal cacophony of color in an otherworldly, stark landscape. Instead of looking for a scene I could isolate and simplify, I let the light guide my eye to this wider scene. I just love the beautiful warm morning light raking across this wall of cypress trees and spanish moss.
