Less than a month post Covid, I found myself rethinking my life choices while racing the quickly thickening fog up the side of Slackers Hill in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area with my 38 pound camera bag. It's a short but steep hike, and I quickly learned that I didn't have my lungs back just yet. Took about thirty minutes up at the top afterwards before I didn't feel like throwing up, but thankfully came away with the exact shot I wanted before the fog completely filled in and hid my prize.
