The Story

These glacial rivers remind me a bit of the art of blowing glass. It's a bit collaborative, isn't it? Frozen glaciers will grind away at the earth as they expand and contract, but the real beauty, to me, is found in the turquoise rivers of melted runoff that shape the earth below as it turns and twists, reforming the landscape over and over through time. Here, it looks like underwater sand dunes shaped by water instead of wind.
