It's hard to truly disconnect these days, especially in a big city. One of the things that's special about San Francisco and the surrounding area is that you can get off work, drive less than an hour and be away from it all. You can watch those reception bars drop and drop and the traffic falls behind, then suddenly here you are...amongst the fog and the trees and the evening light and the warm summer breeze and blissfully disconnected. Even if it's just for a little while before heading back down into the world, you're free.
