The Story

Sadly, towards the end of our gallery run, we lost one of our Pueo artists to cancer. John McAbery was an amazing sculptor and unique, special human being. He lived an artist's life in a cabin on the Northern California coast. Just the artist, the ocean, the clouds and the art in his heart.

The name of this image is a nod to his memory and his own piece of the same name, which we sold to a collector unknowingly just one day after his passing.

Rest in peace, John. I hope you are free and still an artist among the ocean and the clouds.
