The Story

A doting mother gently guiding her curious young calf to the surface for a breath, with glorious light rays beaming through the clear waters of Tonga.

It's not until much later, as I add this image here to the website that I realize the pose is very similar to a beautiful glass sculpture we sold out of our old gallery in Paia. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to name that piece before we displayed it, so now Babies Breath will carry on within my own work.
